Thriving Together
Positive Identity, Empowerment, and Positive Community Relationships
Who We Are
AIMSPC is a community-driven coalition of American Indian community members, organizations, service providers, and partners working together to strengthen suicide prevention across the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro area.
Led by Ain Dah Yung Center, we center culture, connection, and community strengths in everything we do. Our work builds Positive Identity, Empowerment, and Positive Community Relationships for American Indian youth.
Why We Exist
The American Indian Metro Suicide Prevention Coalition exists to strengthen suicide prevention efforts for American Indian youth and families across the Twin Cities metro area by centering cultural strengths and systems-level collaboration.
AIMSPC advances prevention by promoting protective factors such as positive identity, empowerment, and building positive community connections.
